The first four issues of the new Journal of the Surrey Regiment bound into a single volume. 294pp with numerous black and white plate illustrations and occasional other illustrations in text. In plain red cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. Speckled text block edges. Tall 8vo. Boards are moderately rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a couple of small mild marks on cloth. Top text block edge a little dust darkened. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring an occasional hint of page toning. Journals contain regimental news and a series of articles on its history and establishment etc.
