Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges faintly toned. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, a little worn with some chapping at edges, minor losses on spine, price clipped. No. 385 in Collin's Library of Classics series. First published by Cassell & Co in 1922, this is Well's account of human history - a breathtaking work in scope, covering everything from the origin of mankind to the First World War.
