Volume III (of III) only. First edition. 366pp. Contemporary three quarters leather over marbled paper boards. Gilt lettering on black spine labels on spine, elaborate gilt decorations on spine. Marbled endpapers. 12mo. Boards rubbed and scuffed around edges, worn with some paper scarring on panels. Gilding on top edge tarnished and faded, other edges toned and spotted. Armorial bookplate of Elizabeth Digby (perhaps the sister of the Tory politician John Benn-Walsh, Lord Ormathwaite) on front paste down. Some mild browning on first and last few leaves.
