Volume I (of II) only. xiv, [2], 231pp, [1, blank], with portrait frontispiece and four further full page plates. Bound in contemporary full tan calf's leather. 12mo. Boards worn and scuffed, rubbed all round edges, rounded at corners and crumbled spine ends. A couple of small marks on spine. Endpapers and adjacent leaves heavily browned at edges. Small date stamp on front free endpaper. A little mild uneven toning throughout. This volume contains books 1 to 7 of Paradise Lost.
