Undated but circa 1990. Unpaginated but circa 100pp, with delightful and sometimes humorous illustrations throughout. Spiral bound in laminated card covers. A tad of shelf wear on card covers, rear panel corner clipped. Previous owner's name inside front cover else neat, clean, bright and tight. A collection of family favourite recipes, many with a country feel or using local ingredients (Kent Cherry Ale, Nut Crumble, Kentish Apple and Cheese Pie, Staplehurst Chicken Pudding etc), and some perhaps a little inadvisable - we particularly liked the 1870 recipe for preserving husbands and the accompanying way of preserving children. Includes some charming sketches of village scenes.
