First Edition, ninth printing. 48pp. Quarter bound in blue cloth over pale blue paper-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Lightly rounded spine tips. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a previous owner's name and some faint spotting on endpapers. Dust jacket worn, a tad faded and spotted and chipped along edges. Tells the story of a little Italian boy who refused to lose faith when his donkey fell sick and seemed likely to die. But the boy had faith, and was sure that if he could just take his donkey to St Francis, all would be well. Filmed as Never Take No For an Answer. Illustrated with line drawings in text.
