First edition. 380pp. Beige cloth-covered boards; green titles on front and spine. 8vo. Slightly mottled spine and boards, rubbed corners and spine ends, bottom front corner bumped, quite cocked. Text block edges just starting to tan and fox. Very slight foxing to front pastedown. Otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape of adhesives; has 3cm closed tear top front, minor loss to spine head, light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped.  O'Leary was a protege of W B Yeats and the foreword to this novel reproduces a letter from Yeats praising O'Leary's writing.
