Popular edition reprint. 106pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and 15 further plate illustrations, all drawn by Lionel Edwards. In green cloth-covered boards with red lettering front and spine. Cloth gently rubbed at edges. Text block edges darkened. Some spotting on endpapers and first and last few leaves else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, rubbed and chipped on edges and corners, worn, faded and shelf worn with minor loss at base of spine and along rear lower edge.
