First edition, first impression.  176pp, with frontispiece and line drawings by Jill Crockford.  In red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends.  Some mild spotting on text block edges and internally.  Gift inscription, dated 1963, inked on front paste down.  In its origial, illustrated matt dust jacket, price clipped, moderately  bumped at edges, mildly faded shelf worn and small nick a head of spine.  Dust jacket now protected in a Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape of adhesives.
