Issues separately paginated, illustrated with engravings and line drawings. 36 consecutive issues of the monthly journal Fire and Water from March 1888 to February 1891 bound into a single volume. Quarter bound in dark leather over blue pebbled cloth. Gilt titles on spine. Speckled edges. 4to. Boards a little worn, slightly rubbed on coners and scuffed around spine. Faded and mottled around upper leading corners front and rear. Spine leather is dull and brittle. Firmly bound. Internally generally neat and clean but some occasional spots and marks on pages.
