1861-1882. Complete in four volumes. [xvi], 254pp; [iv], 234pp; [iv], 224pp; [iv] 304, [x] pp, plus 132 colour plates illustrating species and varieties of British moths. All four volumes uniformly bound in strong green buckram cloth-covered boards with gilt moth motif and gilt lettering on spine, substantial blind embossed decorations. 8vo. Boards are a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little sunned over spine. Volume IV has a small nick in cloth on upper edge. Some light foxing and soiling on endpapers. Volume I has one loose signature. Some cracked hinges so slightly shaken.
