First edition, first impressiohn. xvi, 272pp, with 45 colour photographs, 68 photographs in black and white and further maps and diagrams in text. In publisher's green cloth with gilt lettering. 8vo. Cloth a little marked, gently rolled at spine base. Upper page block edge a little dulled. Some tiny scattered marks in front hinge else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. Jacket now protected in a Brodard style sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
