1906. 296pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and further similar plates. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration front and spine. 8vo. Boards heavily worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, sunned over spine, very slightly cocked. Text block edges toned, just effecting extreme page margins. Prize presentation plate on front pastedown, dated 1908. Endpapers spotted with some offset toning on front free endpaper, very occasional small spotting on pages, a little delicate binding.
A lovely vintage copy of the Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, accompanied by Paget's classic illustrations.
