36pp, with occasional black and white illustrations.  Original light card wrappers, stapled.  8vo.  Covers are worn and a little rubbed at edges, slightly soiled.  Small label affixed to top of first leaf and some signs of handling throughout else neat, clean and tight.

This, presumably first, edition of A Brief Study of Bodmin Moor was published anonymously but later editions - all now hard to find -  were credited to Ernest Coleman Axford.  It provides a thorough description of the geology, topology and history of the moor.
