First edition, first printing. viii, 312pp, with tissue-guarded plate frontispiece. Black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine. Bevelled edges. Top edge gilt. 8vo. Cloth slightly worn, a little pushed at spine ends. Fore and lower text block edges a little toned. Previous owner's inscription neatly inked on front free endpaper; some spotting on first and last few leaves, including tissue-guard.

A nice, presentable copy of this first editon J M Barrie novel in which Peter Pan makes his first appearance in Barrie's fiction.
