Title page printed in red and black. Top edge gilt, remaining edges deckled.  8vo.  Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and around spine.  Text block edges toned and spotted.  Front hinge cracked, endpapers spotted, with some faint and occasional spotting throughout.  

A pleasing vintage volume of the myths and legends of native Americans in a now hard to find vintage edition, particularly desirable for the colour plate illustrations which accompany the tales.
