Colour plate frontispiece by Nancy Barnhart. Previous owner's book plate on front endpaper. Very occasional light spotting. Scarce edition of this classic children's tale - Edith Morris's illustration was only used for this issue, being dropped and replaced for the next issue. Very attractive volume. Broad 8vo.
