2nd impression, printed in the same year as 1st edition. 192pp. Red cloth boards (worn at edges, rounded on corners, a couple of marks). Slight lean, cracking but still holding. Ex library, markings on front endpaper only. In a poor dust jacket, chipped and fraying, old tape repairs top and bottom and most of back strip absent. Very hard to find volume, from the author of The Crouching Hill, Dora Beddoe and Indian Rain. Concerns a murder in an English village.
