1sted, 1st imp. 190pp. Green cloth boards (rubbed, marked, rounded at corners, faded on spine). Library lending sheet on front endpaper, else no other library markings. Internally neat and clean barring very occasional foxing. In its original, now worn, mildly edge-chapped and faded dust jacket. Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. A detective mystery based on the Sexton Blake story "The Clue of the Stolen Rupees" (Sexton Blake 3rd series, No12) in which Blake and Tinker have been replaced by Ruston Carr and George Mansell, both formerly of Scotland Yard and now private investigators. Very hard to find title, especially in its dust jacket, and collectible for its association with the Sexton Blake series.
