First edition, first printing (true first). 213pp. Maps to endpapers, with line drawings by Ionicus and textual notes and appendices by Richard Usborne (including some facsimile reproductions of Wodehouse's manuscript, an essay on the novel and a topography of Blandings Castle). Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine (clean, bright and square, some very minor flecking on text block edge). In a slightly edge worn dust jacket, which has a small chip at base of spine and a single spot on the inner front flap). Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality mylar wrapper which is not adhere to the jacket or volume. Wodehouse's joyful and inexhaustibly funny, final, unfinished 'Blandings' novel, stretching to 16 of a planned 22 chapters, first published two years after his death.
