Not dated but circa 1920. 176pp, black and white illustrations, includes coloured, fold-out map, plus many pages of contemporary advertisements. In red cloth covered boards with gilt titles front and spine, red speckled text block edges (boards a little rounded on corners, slightly sunned spine, and rubbed a little at spine tips). A touch of tanning on endpapers only, else internally neat, clean and bright. A well-researched guide to the North Devon and North Cornwall area, for travellers and tourists of the 1920s, covering landscape, towns and villages, historic sites and regional history etc. Uncommon.
