First edition [1933]. 312pp plus publisher's adverts at rear. In red cloth-covered boards with black rules on front panel, black lettering on spine. 12mo. Boards a little rubbed on edges, rounded and rubbed on corners and spine ends. Spine sunned. Top text block edge lightly dust-darkened. Single, mild mark on fore-edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Waterhouse was a member of the French Foreign Legion (Ex Legionnarie 1484); this volume is a lively narrative of two of his fellow Legionnaires, Dale and Rawlings, both noted for their courage and exploits. Hard to find title.
