Not dated [1948]. 54pp, with charming black and white line drawings throughout. In grey cloth-covered boards with green titles on front panel. Landscape 12mo. Boards are worn and marked, lightly rubbed at edges and rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Front hinge cracked, resulting in loosening of otherwise solid text block. Pages and illustrations neat, clean and bright. A charming tale, with evocative illustrations, for young children.
