Undated but circa 1950. 80pp, with line drawings by T Holmes. In green cloth boards with gilt lettering front and spine. 12mo. Boards just a tad rubbed at spine tips. Elegant prize presentation plate on front free endpaper, indicating the volume was once awarded to Margaret Clarke in 1952 by Withnesham Baptist Sunday School, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, price clipped dust jacket, a little bumped and rubbed at edges, a few short, closed nicks on edges, some visible shelf wear on verso.
