Two volumes featuring Biggles. Biggles Takes a Holiday is a first edition, fifth impression from 1952; Biggles and the Poor Rich Boy is a reissue from 1961. 182pp; 192pp. Both bound in orange cloth-covered boards with black lettering on spine. 12mos. Cloth a little worn, gently rounded at corners and spine ends. Some faint spotting on text block edges. 'Takes a Holiday' lacks its front free endpaper. Both volumes in attractive, illustrated dust wrappers, a little rubbed at edges, chipped on corners and spine ends, shelf worn with a few mild marks. Dust wrappers now protected in Mylar-style wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
