352pp plus 16pp publisher catalogue bound in at end. Red cloth boards, with pictorial 5 colour printing to front and spine. Coloured end papers. Prize presentation plate to front end paper indicating that book was awarded to Norman Smith in 1912 for perfect attendance at Stirchley St. boys school. Monochrome plate frontispiece and 5 further plate illustrations all by C J Staniland. Boards slightly worn. Rubbed and round at corners and head and heel of spine.
