1st edition, 1st impression, 192pp. Brown cloth boards with Mills and Boon motif in corner (lightly worn at edges and corners, rubbed around spine joints, a few marks). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Occasional foxing/mild marks. In its original, faded dust jacket (rubbed and a little chipped at edges, starting to fray at spine ends). Dust jacket supplied in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect and prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. This title is not easy to find, especially in its dust jacket. Jan Tempest is one of the pen names of Irene Swatridge who also wrote as Fay Chandos, Virgina Storm, Theresa Charles, and Leslie Lance.
