First edition, second impression. x, 302pp, 32pp publisher's ads, eight black and white plates (inc. frontispiece). Pictorial orange cloth-covered boards; black titles on front and spine, black endpapers. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed corners, rubbed spine ends with cloth fraying. Top text block edge tanned, remaining edges starting to tan. Prize bookplate on front pastedown, frontispiece tissue guard tanning. Gutters cracked and strained, volume remains tight. Otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring very occasional foxing to early pages.
